FC Hermannstadt's goalkeeper became unavailable for the match with FCSB in the Superliga. The cut on the knee required several stitches, so the Sibiu player will not be able to play until they are removed. Marius Măldărășanu, the team coach, confirmed the injury.
“Căbuz slipped on the stairs of the bus, cut his knee, he has three children. And Vlad Muțiu did something in the house. There are things that amused us, we have nothing more to do”, declared the Sibiu coach.
Vlad Mutiu is FC Hermannstadt's solution in goal, while Ionuț Pop could be on the bench. Muțiu is usually used in the Romanian Cup games, but he was also a starter in the game with Oțelul, from the last stage of the Superliga.
The match between FC Hermannstadt and FCSB is scheduled for Sunday, from 8:30 p.m., in Sibiu, in stage #16 of the Superliga.
FCSB failed to beat Hermannstadt in the last three direct matches, and in the last match played in Sibiu, the hosts won 2-0.
