Surprise meeting between David Popovici (21 years old), multiple European, world and Olympic champion, and Andrei Șelaru, the famous Selly influencer. The two participated in a training session.
The training took place at the Dinamo pool in Bucharest. It was all streamed live on the influencer's YouTube channel with nearly four million subscribers.
Selly he tried to swim side by side with David Popovici, but, naturally, he couldn't cope with the world champion.

The symbolic “race” took place in the context of Selly promoting a platform for “Black Friday” discounts.
“In the end, the two set a symbolic 'record': the most intense race among discounts in the history of Black Friday”, notes Libertatea.
“A man came to a swimming lesson,” David Popovici wrote on the story section of the official Instagram account.
The meeting took place a few hours after Popovici participated in a charity action of the Hope and Homes for Children Foundation, of which he is an ambassador.
The two warmed up with a series of push-ups. Selly then jumped into the pool, much to the amusement of the children present. David entered the game and easily beat the influencer who was live for 12 hours on the YouTube channel.
