Mythical harbinger of doom fish found on California beach
This is the second “doomsday fish” this year that has washed ashore, this time in California. This fish is considered a harbinger of earthquakes and natural disasters, as well as a symbol of death.
According to scientists, a long ribbon-shaped fish-strap or “herring king” was found on the shore. Back in 2011, several such fish were found in Japan just a couple of months before a large-scale earthquake.
