The Sejm decides on Ziobro's immunity. Poles divided [SONDAŻ]


The atmosphere around Zbigniew Ziobro, former Minister of Justice, is extremely tense. The prosecutor's office accuses him of leading an organized criminal group and embezzlement of funds from the Justice Fund. The Sejm is to discuss his case until late on Thursday.
Only at 23.30 The Sejm is to review the report of the Rules Committee regarding the prosecutor's office's request for the Sejm to consent to criminal prosecution, detention and temporary arrest of a Member of Parliament.
The above-mentioned committee is to consider this application at 16.

Poles are divided in their assessment of Ziobro's future
The latest survey conducted by SW Research for Onet shows that Poles' opinions about Zbigniew Ziobro's responsibility are strongly divided. The question asked to respondents was: “Do you think that Zbigniew Ziobro will actually be held accountable in the Justice Fund scandal?”.
36.2 percent believes that the former Minister of Justice will be held accountable;
39.7 percent believes that Ziobro will avoid punishment;
24 percent respondents cannot predict the outcome of this case.
The survey was conducted on November 4-5, 2025 by the SW RESEARCH agency using the online interview method (CAWI – Computer-Assisted Web Interview) on the SW Panel online panel. As part of the study, 828 surveys were conducted with a nationwide sample of adults. Quota sampling was used – the sample was representative in terms of the total distribution of gender, age and size class of the place of residence.
