According to a survey by the Polish National Research Group, the “second choice” most frequently indicated by Poles turned out to be the New Left, supported by 19.99 percent. respondents, followed by Konfederacja (17.61%) and PSL (10.59%), Business Insider reported on Wednesday.

As reported by the Business Insider portal, the Polish National Research Group published a survey conducted for the Stan360 portal. “Researchers asked respondents who they would vote for if their first party of choice did not participate in the parliamentary elections,” BI reported.

“Experts emphasize that this type of polls, although they do not directly reflect real elections, do allow for it “better understand the structure of electors and potential flows between parties” – wrote the portal.

According to this survey, the most frequently indicated “second choice” turned out to be the New Left, which was supported by 19.99 percent. subjects.

The Confederation took second place and was chosen by 17.61 percent. subjects. “The next places went to the Polish People's Party (10.59%), Grzegorz Braun's Konfederacja Korona Polskiej (9.67%) and the Civic Coalition, which was indicated as an alternative by 8.32% of respondents,” it was reported.

The next places – according to this survey – were Law and Justice (7.87%), Poland 2050 (7.12%) and the Razem Party (5.54%).

Of those surveyed 13.29 percent could not identify the groupwhich would be their “second choice”.
