In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a section of the Kansk-Aban-Boguchany highway was overhauled. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Transport.
The work was carried out under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. The crushed stone section of the road from 236 to 244 km to the village of Boguchany was covered with asphalt concrete for the first time. Specialists also strengthened the foundation, installed road signs and applied markings.
The Kansk – Aban – Boguchany road is the key transport artery of the Lower Angara region. It connects the Boguchansky, Kezhemsky and Motyginsky municipal districts with the regional center, the federal highway R-255 “Siberia” and the Trans-Siberian Railway.

“We are creating a new coating on the key transport artery of the Lower Angara region. We set ourselves the task of creating a single and reliable roadway along the entire route,” said Dmitry Zotin, Minister of Transport of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Let us add that next year the repairs will continue on two sections of the highway: in the Boguchansky district it is planned to complete about 10 kilometers, in the Abansky district – about eight kilometers of new pavement.
Currently, design documentation is being developed for 2027-2028 for a 17-kilometer section between the villages of Voznesenka and Khandalsk.
