A serious road accident took place on Tuesday in the town of Lipău, after a car left the road and overturned in a ditch. According to the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations “Someș” Satu Mare, several crews intervened on the scene – extinguishing, extrication, first aid and SMURD TIM.
Following the impact, three people were found inside the car. “An approximately 42-year-old person, who, unfortunately, was pronounced dead at the scene; a 36-year-old and another 18-year-old, both with multiple traumas. The two injured victims are medically evaluated and will be transported to the emergency unit for additional care“, ISU transmitted, according to Agerpres.
Firefighters, on alert to prevent a fire
The intervention crews acted to extract the victims and to ensure the specific fire prevention measures, so that the area is completely secured.
The police are to establish, following investigations, the exact circumstances in which the accident occurred.
