“Last night's minimum air temperature recorded at the VDNKh weather station was 8.2 degrees Celsius. This value is even warmer than the nocturnal climatological average for May and September”said Evgeny Tishkovets, coordinating specialist at the Phobos Meteorological Center, according to Agerpres.
The Russian expert considers this temperature to be “an anomaly”, adding that such warm nights on this calendar date have never been recorded in the entire history of regular observations made at the VDNKh weather station.
Alexander Ilyin, a specialist at the Center for Weather Forecasts, said that the warm weather should persist in Moscow until the end of this week.
According to him, the average daytime temperatures will be 3-5 degrees Celsius above the values considered normal for the month of November
