On the highway in the Ermakovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a foreign car collided with a truck.

According to preliminary information, today, November 2, in the morning in the Ermakovsky district, at 674 km of the R-257 Yenisei highway, a 40-year-old female driver of a Toyota Camry, moving from Kyzyl towards Abakan, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Volvo truck, the traffic police reported.

As a result of the accident, the driver and three passengers of the Toyota were injured: a 40-year-old man and two children aged 9 and 11 years. All passengers were not wearing seat belts.

Traffic police officers and an investigative team are working at the scene of the incident to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds of the mandatory use of passive safety equipment by both drivers and passengers, as well as the danger of driving into the oncoming lane and the need to comply with the speed limit, taking into account weather and road conditions.
