In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 54-year-old man is suspected of…completing a transaction with precious metals in violation of the law. On criminal prosecution under Part 4 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was reported by the regional FSB.
According to investigators, in 2018, a man purchased illegally mined native gold weighing about 3 kg from an unidentified person and a few years later sold it to a commercial organization engaged in purchasing. As a result of the transaction, he received more than 12 million rubles.
“The suspect is currently detained and is actively cooperating with the investigation. The investigation into the criminal case continues,” the FSB said.
