FCSB prevailed on Saturday evening on the field of Cluj University, score 2-0, and equaled Oțelul on points, occupying the last place in the play-off, but the Galăța formation has not yet played its match from this stage.
After a good start to the match for U, the score was opened by FCSB, through Olaru, in the 32nd minute. The balance in the field was broken after the removal of Murgia, who received two yellow cards in three minutes (36' and 39').
Taking advantage of the numerical superiority, FCSB dominated the second part of the game and scored again, through the same Olaru, in the 56th minute.
This victory, the fifth for FCSB in 15 stages, took the titular champion to 19 points, the same number as Oțelul. Galatium plays at Hermannstadt on Sunday, from 17:45.
FCSB, the champion of the last two editions of the Romanian Superliga, is still far from FC Botoșani and Rapid, who are at the top of the ranking with 31 points each.
