From November 5 On the Krasnoyarsk-Elite highway, a complex of photo-video recording of traffic violations associated with exceeding the established speed limit will be launched as usual. “After the completion of the road work, the route became truly comfortable and safe. Now some motorists are tempted to exceed the speed limit. Moreover, cases of organizing illegal races have been observed on the track. The higher the speed, the less reaction time, and road accidents have a higher severity of consequences. This is especially important now, during the off-season, when the temperature stays around 0 °Cand a thin layer of ice may form on the roads. Any speeding in these conditions can lead to disastrous results,” said the deputy head CRUDOR Evgeny Mikhalev.
Let us remind you that the Krasnoyarsk – Elite highway is one of the most popular suburban routes in the Krasnoyarsk agglomeration, the traffic intensity here is about 8 thousand cars per day. The road provides transport links between the regional center and settlements of the Emelyanovsky municipal district, numerous gardening associations and the railway stations of Minino and Kacha. During the reconstruction of the route expanded from 2 to 4 lanes with turning loops and transitional express lanes, installed drainage, installed sidewalks, lighting, barrier and axial fencing, installed new road signs and applied thermoplastic markings.
