A drunk shift worker stabbed a paramedic who came to his call in the Irkutsk region
35-year-old paramedic from the Kazachinsko-Lena regional hospital Alexander Pechelatov went to one of the rotation camps to respond to a call.
Along the way, the man began to behave extremely aggressively. The paramedic opened the door to calm the patient, but he stabbed him in the chest and ran away.
Alexander died on the way to the hospital. The shift worker was detained and a criminal case was opened.
The detainee said he regretted what happened and was “very” remorseful.
