FCSB – Petrol 1-1. After Saturday evening's home draw with Petrolul, from the 17th stage of the Superliga, FCSB has a hot program ahead. The Romanian champion will have three matches in just 7 days, one in each competition in which she is engaged. Complicated is that they will all be on the move.
With the resumption of the championship, after the break caused by the matches of the national teams, FCSB re-entered a tour of strength with matches every 3 days.
The dispute with Petrolul, at the National Arena, was the only one at home for the next two weeks, in which the Romanian champions have three games scheduled, one in the Europa League group, one in the Super League and one in the Romanian Cup groups.
The complicated thing is that they will all be away, the red-blue route being Bucharest – Belgrade – Ovidiu – Arad.
What's next for FCSB, after the draw with Petrolul
Thursday, November 27 from 22:00, FCSB plays in Serbia, on the field of Red Star Belgrade, in the fifth stage of the single Europa League group. Before this match, FCSB is in 31st place, with 3 points, and Red Star Belgrade is in 26th place, with 4 points.
Then, after the trip to Belgrade, for FCSB there is a trip in the championship, one that can prove extremely important in the play-off qualification equation. Sunday, November 30from 20:30, FCSB plays in Ovidiu, with Farul, in the 18th stage of the Superliga.
At the moment, FCSB is in 10th place, 4 points behind Faralu, the last team occupying a play-off spot. However, the sailors have a match in the minus and could break away at +7 if they win today's duel with Oțelul Galați. Thus, in case of a possible success of the Dobrogens with FCSB, the distance would be 10 points, and the mission of the champion to catch the play-off would become a terrible one.
After the match in Ovidiu, another complicated and long trip follows for FCSB, from east to west, to Arad, for the Romanian Cup match. Wednesday, December 3 from 21:00, FCSB plays with UTA, in the second stage of the Romanian Cup group.
After these three consecutive trips, the red-blue formation ends 2025 with four more games, 3 of which at home:
-
FCSB – Dinamo, Superliga, December 6, 8:30 p.m
-
FCSB – Feyenoord, Europa League, December 11, 22:00
-
Unirea Slobozia – FCSB, Superliga, to be determined
