The Beeline operator, together with the Ministry of Digital Development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, provided residents of the village of Novaya Kuzurba with access to 4G mobile Internet.

The settlement is located about a three-hour drive from Krasnoyarsk and is home to about 200 people.

Technical specialists launched a new base station in the village, providing 4G communications. With the advent of the mobile Internet, residents have the opportunity to listen to music, lectures and podcasts, learn news, work and study remotely, pay for services online, receive government services without traveling to Krasnoyarsk or the regional center, communicate with loved ones using instant messengers and social networks.

“Developing a network in such populated areas is not an easy task for an operator, so it is important to mention that we implemented this project together with regional authorities. This is an excellent example when the operator and the state join forces to digitalize small settlements, where mobile Internet is no less important than in cities and large towns,” comments Evgeniy Malyushkin, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Beeline.

Along with 4G mobile Internet, residents also have access to voice calls in the VoLTE format (Voice over LTE)*. VoLTE technology opens up a new level of call quality: the connection is established almost instantly. The voice sounds clearer, which creates the effect of presence.

The village of Novaya Kuzurba is located in the Uzhur municipal district, approximately 200 km from Krasnoyarsk and 25 km from the administrative center of Uzhur.
