The director of a municipal unitary enterprise in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be tried for the theft of 3.6 million rubles during the repair of wastewater treatment plants

The director of the Sibservice municipal unitary enterprise in the village of Nizhnyaya Poima, Krasnoyarsk Territory, will appear in court on charges of theft of 3.65 million rubles allocated for the overhaul of treatment facilities.

According to the prosecutor's office, in 2022, the administration of Nizhnyaya Poima concluded a municipal contract with the enterprise for the repair of wastewater treatment facilities worth 10 million rubles, paid for with a regional subsidy. The director, enjoying the confidence of the acting the head of the village, did not lay porcelain tiles on hundreds of square meters, did not install aluminum grilles and did not purchase consumables. The cost of uncompleted work amounted to 438 thousand rubles. Having signed false documents, he received full payment and pocketed the difference.

In 2023, under a similar contract for 10.2 million rubles, he applied the same scheme, saving on equipment and materials. In this way, another 3.2 million rubles were stolen. The total amount of damage, according to investigators, reached 3.65 million rubles.

The director completely denies guilt, claiming that the money was spent on taxes, salaries and the needs of the village, and the replacement of materials was required due to sanctions and was verbally agreed upon with the ex-head.

The prosecutor confirmed the charge of fraud and filed a civil claim for damages. The case was sent to the Nizhneingashsky District Court. The accused faces up to 10 years in prison.
