On Thursday, the General Meeting of Cyfrowy Polsat dismissed Zygmunt Solorz's wife, Justyna Kulka, from the company's supervisory board. Kulka was its vice-chairwoman.

After the change carried out on Thursday, there are five members on the Supervisory Board of Cyfrowy Polsat, which – as Jarosław Kołkowski, the chairman of the general meeting, pointed out – is a sufficient number to fulfill its function. The council currently consists of: Daniel Kaczorowski (chairman), Józef Birka, Marek Grzybowski, Alojzy Nowak and Tomasz Szeląg.
The extraordinary general meeting was announced by the Cypriot company Reddev Investments Limited – the main shareholder of Cyfrowy Polsat. The letter read during the meeting shows that Reddev, by convening the general meeting and dismissing Kulka, wants to secure the company's assets and ensure that the functioning of its business operations and subsidiaries is uninterrupted. “The supervisory board must consist of people who have the same priorities,” it read.
Justyna Kulka has already been dismissed, among others. from the supervisory board of Telewizja Polsat, Netia and Polkomtel.
There is an ongoing dispute in Zygmunt Solorz's family regarding the takeover of control of the business by the billionaire's children, who are in dispute with the businessman's wife, Justyna Kulka. Zygmunt Solorz lost his position as chairman of the supervisory board of Cyfrowy Polsat. The company's president, Mirosław Błaszczyk, was also dismissed. Currently, Andrzej Abramczuk is the president of the company. (PAP)
