Candles, inserts and chrysanthemums. Some prices have dropped significantly

Data analysis shows that this year the prices of most products related to All Saints' Day were lower than a year earlier. The median price of candles dropped from PLN 9.73 to PLN 8.99, and in the case of inserts it remained at a similar level (PLN 5.19 compared to PLN 5.49).

In the case of chrysanthemums, the median price decreased from PLN 16.12 to PLN 14.99. The increase in the median for cartridges may suggest that in 2025, consumers were more likely to choose higher-priced products or larger cartridge options, while cheaper options were less purchased or less available. Due to the fact that the prices of candles dropped slightly, their sales increased compared to the inserts. As consumers, we did not want to use half-measures and could afford to buy candles, not just the inserts.

There are numerous promotions in stores, which could have resulted in lower values in the analyses. At the same time, consumers were more likely to reach for cheaper product variants, taking into account the wide range of prices, in which you can buy a candle for as little as PLN 4, but also for PLN 40. The data therefore show not so much a decline in the prices of the products themselves, but rather a change in shopping behavior: Poles are more willing to look for bargains and choose more economical solutions – we read in the analysis of the PanParagon application.
