Fuel prices in Poland 2025. When and how much will fuel prices increase after sanctions against Russia?


Fuel prices gas prices at gas stations may go up this week, forecast experts from the e-petrol.pl website. All thanks to the growing ones oil prices on global markets, driven by tightening international sanctions against the Russian oil sector.
“The direction and dynamics of changes on the wholesale market do not give drivers any grounds for optimism. The last days of October may bring a return to price increases at gas stations,” e-petrol.pl analysts emphasized in their Friday report.
According to the portal's forecasts, fuel prices this week (October 27 – November 2) may be:
- 95 petrol: PLN 5.78–5.89/l,
- 98 petrol: PLN 6.55–6.67/l,
- Diesel fuel: PLN 5.91–6.02/l,
- Autogas: PLN 2.56–2.63/l.
Experts remind us that the beginning of November is a period of increased travel related to the celebrations All Saints' Day. Many people plan to visit the graves of loved ones, which means a greater demand for fuel. “It's a good idea to prepare for this year's trips by refueling in advance,” experts advise.

Fuel prices in Poland in 2025. What is behind the recent increase in oil prices?
At the beginning of last week, oil prices on the London Stock Exchange were close to breaking the psychological barrier of $60. per barrel. Last Monday, a barrel of Brent crude oil cost $60.07. However, on Friday, after a dynamic increase, the price exceeded $66. per barrel. On Tuesday, a barrel is valued at $64.
Experts indicate that the key factor influencing the increase in raw material prices is the tightening of sanctions against the Russian oil sector. Great Britain adopted new restrictions against Lukoil and Rosneft, but only the sanctions imposed on Thursday by the United States triggered a strong reaction from investors on the oil market – e-petrol.pl analysts note.

Experts emphasize that the situation on the fuel market in Poland is closely related to global changes in oil prices. As a result, drivers may experience an increase in refueling costs. So it's worth planning your All Saints' Day trips in advance and refueling before prices increase.
