Trump on plans for 2028. He rules out running for vice president

“I could do it,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, but added that he wouldn't do it.
“I wouldn't do it. I think it would be too beautiful. I don't think people would like it. It wouldn't be right.” – he said.
Under the 22nd Amendment to the United States Constitution, no one can be elected president for a third time. Some have suggested that one way to circumvent the ban would be for Trump to run for vice president and then have the newly elected president resign. Thus, Trump would assume the office of president again, Reuters recalled, adding that the legality of such a solution was questioned.
A former advisor suggests. “Trump will remain president”
Three days ago, former Trump adviser Steve Bannon told the Economist that there was a “plan” to circumvent the 22nd Amendment.
“Trump will become president in 2028 and people should come to terms with that.” – he said. “We will present a plan in due time,” he announced, without revealing any details.
He explained that Trump would need a third term to achieve all his goals. “We must finish what we started, and President Trump is the providential instrument to finish that job,” he said.
