Satellite Operations Center in Poland. The government announces a new investment

– We have brilliant people, Poland is becoming a leader in the region, we also have the means to create a Satellite Operations Center as soon as possible, coordinating activities and being a synergistic place for everyone who knows how to use satellite capabilities – said Prime Minister Tusk.
At Saturday's convention in Warsaw, the Civic Platform, Nowoczesna and Inicjatywa Polska officially announced their merger into one party called the Civic Coalition. The national convention continues its program on Sunday, KO politicians and experts at the Copernicus Science Center (CNK) discuss the challenges under the slogan “Democracy of equal opportunities”, including: in the field of security, economic competitiveness and nuclear energy.
During the afternoon press conference, Prime Minister Tusk announced that Sunday's meeting at one of the panels has a “very practical dimension.” – We are talking about the future, but not with our heads in the clouds, but by looking really bravely at the sky and even making decisions – said Tusk.
He added that at the meeting about the Polish presence in space and the opportunities related to it, they also discussed “one of the most important needs that can combine many elements of success (meeting participants – ed.) and what they have done so far and what is necessary from the point of view of the broadly understood security of Poland, i.e. the Satellite Operations Center.”
He added that thanks to the presence of the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, the decision “did not require many hours of deliberations and was made today.” — A Satellite Operations Center will be established in Poland, he declared.

The Prime Minister announced that “elections in the Civic Coalition will begin this year.” He announced that he would run for office. He added that before the 2027 elections, KO will have a program for the next term. – For now, I still have work to do – he added. – Before the 2027 elections, we will have a program for the next term. And it will certainly be this program, I am convinced of it, which you will also call “the program for Poland's golden decade”, because we really have a golden decade ahead of us, he announced.
