The blogger noted that grechaniky is a traditional Ukrainian dish, which consists of buckwheat cutlets.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g boiled buckwheat;
  • two onions;
  • 500 g minced meat;
  • two eggs;
  • 40 g flour;
  • 60 ml vegetable oil;
  • salt to taste;
  • pepper to taste;
  • 5 g paprika;
  • 5 g dry garlic.

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  2. Puree the onion in a blender.
  3. Mix buckwheat, minced meat and onion. Salt, pepper, add all the spices.
  4. Add eggs and flour to the mixture. Knead the minced meat thoroughly.
  5. Form cutlets and roll them in flour.
  6. Fry the buckwheat pancakes in vegetable oil on both sides and then bake them in the oven for 12 minutes at 180°C.
