The temperatures will be increasing from the middle of this week and will reach 21-22 degrees in the southern and southeastern areas of Romania, including Bucharest, said, on Monday, the director of the National Meteorological Administration, Elena Mateescu.
The director of ANM said, on B1TV, that on Monday and Tuesday the temperatures will be specific to this period, with maximums between 10 and 16-17 degrees and with minimums between -1 degree and 9-10 degrees. The highest temperatures will be in the south and southeast of the country, but it will rain.
According to the ANM directory, there will be quantitatively weak rains in most of the country. There will also be wind intensifications, especially in the mountainous area, with speeds of 70-90 km/h, and in the lower areas, of 40-50 km/h.
“From the middle of the week, the news is good. Temperatures will be rising so that the end of October, the second month of this autumn, will bring temperatures between 11 and 21-22 degrees. Even the overnight lows will be higher, between 2 and 12 degrees, including in the Capital.
We are talking about the possibility that, starting from Wednesday, the temperatures, with small variations from one day to the next, will be between 20 and 21 degrees Celsius”, meteorologist Elena Mateescu also said.
