Algerian Jugurtha Hamroun (36 years old), the former left midfielder from FCSB from the 2015-2016 period, he spoke about the fight for the Superliga title. FC Botosani is the surprise leader, with 28 points after 13 stages.

The team coached by Leo Grozavu (58 years old) is followed by Rapid, which has the same number of points, and the podium is completed by the University of Craiova.

Dinamo, FC Argeș and Oțelul Galați are the teams that complete the play-off places.

Jugurtha Hamroun, shocked to hear the news that FCSB is in relegation: “12? Aoleu”

Hamroun won the League Cup with FCSB in 2016. He played 44 matches for the red-blue team, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists.

The Algerian retired from football activity in October 2024. Following Hamroun's departure to Al Sadd, Gigi Becali collected two million euros after taking him for free from Oțelul.

In Hamroun's view, FC Botoșani, Dinamo and Rapid are the teams that will fight for the title. He also praised the University of Craiova, but, surprisingly, he does not see it involved in this race.

“I hope FCSB will win the championship, but it's 12th!? Uuuu… Hard! Ouch. I say that it will be played between Dinamo, Rapid and Botoșani. Craiova lui Rădoi is very good, I liked it in Europe“said Hamroun, for sport.ro.

“The last team I played for was in Algeria. Now I'm retired, yes. I haven't played for 6 months and I think that's it, I'm stopping. Physically it's a bit difficult, I tried to find a team to play for fun, but I didn't find a good challenge and I didn't want to go too far, to another country.

I also have my family here, the children, that's why I stopped,” said Jugurtha Hamroun, GSP Live, in 2024.
