A bath after guests is not a shame to show: 5 minutes and everything shines without bleach and elbow-length gloves

After guests leave, you want to quickly tidy up the bathroom. Shampoo stains, limescale deposits or marks from wet hands often remain on the surface. Long cleaning with aggressive chemicals is not always possible, but there is a simple and safe way.

All you need is vinegar, baking soda and an old toothbrush. In five minutes, the bathtub will look like it has just been cleaned.

What you will need:

White vinegar 9% – 100 ml
Baking soda – 2-3 tablespoons
Warm water – for rinsing
Soft sponge and old toothbrush

How to do:

  • First, wet the surface of the bathtub with warm water.
  • Apply baking soda to a sponge and gently scrub the entire surface, paying special attention to the faucets, sides and bottom. Baking soda gently removes grease and dust.
  • In hard-to-reach places, use a toothbrush with baking soda.
  • Then spray the surface with vinegar from a spray bottle or pour it in a thin stream. Vinegar dissolves limescale and removes soap stains.
  • Wait two to three minutes for the slight hiss to pass.
  • Rinse everything off with warm water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.

This method is suitable for acrylic, cast iron and enamel bathtubs.

Question and answer:

Can I use vinegar and baking soda for an acrylic bathtub?
Yes, but it is important not to overheat the surface and not to use hot water immediately after treatment. Vinegar and baking soda are safe when used in moderation.

Why shouldn't you use bleach to clean your bathtub?
Bleach leaves a strong odor, irritates the respiratory tract and can damage the surface if used frequently. Natural remedies are gentler and safer.
