FK Csikszereda finished tied with Petrolul Ploiești, 1-1 (1-1), on Friday evening, in Miercurea Ciuc, in the first match of the 14th stage of the football Superleague, Agerpres reports.
The guests opened the scoring through Adrian Chică-Roșă (13 – penalty), after a foul committed by Bence Vegh.
Ciucani equalized through Marton Eppel (41), after goalkeeper Raul Bălbărău dropped the ball to Anderson Ceara's cross.
Ploiește had two great opportunities to break away, but Tomi Jyry (22) missed in front of the goal, and Chică-Roșă's (30) shot was defended by goalkeeper Eduard Pap. Ricardinho also sent a dangerous shot (32), rejected by Pap.
The hosts could have scored the winning goal late on, but Balint Szabo (68) shot just wide and Szabolcs Szalay (90) missed a penalty, hitting the post. Szalay also got the penalty kick, after being fouled by Alexandru Mateiu.
Petrol finished the match inferior, Yohan Roche receiving two yellow cards for protests, before and after the penalty.
FK Csikszereda reached eight consecutive games without defeat in the championship, two wins and six draws. Oil was coming after two wins.
The two teams are neighbors in the standings, both with 13 points, Petrolul is 13th and Csikszereda 14th, News.ro notes.
