The exam for obtaining the title of specialist in Emergency Medicine will be resumed on October 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the Minister of Health announced on Thursday. The decision was taken following the numerous appeals filed, starting on October 17, 2025, “by the candidates who reported irregularities in the organization of the written test”, says Minister Alexandru Rogobete.
“There were significant delays compared to the official start time, as well as problems related to the formulation of the questionnaires, some questions being considered unclear or not directly related to the competition theme. Such situations cannot be ignored when we talk about an exam that certifies the training and professional competence of doctors”, the Minister of Health explained the decision to resume the exam, in a post on Facebook.
The Minister of Health believes that every candidate for this exam must benefit from “equal conditions and a fair, rigorous and transparent evaluation process”.
Retaking the written test for the Emergency Medicine specialty is a “necessary” measure for the exam “to take place according to the standards imposed by a professional evaluation act”, adds Alexandru Rogobete.
“I fully understand the dissatisfaction of the future doctors who faced a situation that affected their confidence at an essential moment in their career. It was precisely this justified reaction of the candidates that formed the basis of the decision to retake the written test”, says Alexandru Rogobete.
