Raul Rusescu, 37 years old, double-champion in Romania alongside FCSBcommented on what happened in the first half of the Europa League match with Bologna. At halftime, the Italians lead 2-0!
Former Superliga top scorer in the 2012/2013 season, champion with FCSB in 2013 and 2015, Raul Rusescu was displeased with the way he played the game in the first 35 minutes.
In that first half hour, even a little better than that, FCSB was outclassed by the Serie A opponent, who was leading 2-0 from the 12th minute!

However, the last minutes of the first half gave the former striker hope:
“In the last 10 minutes, 12 including overtime, [cei de la FCSB] they were much better. They had chances, shots on goal, they knew how to get between the lines, draw some fouls, do something. But the first 35 minutes… I can't get it!
A 1-2 would have been fairer, as the last few minutes showed. In the end, we must admit that we are facing a superior opponent“.
