According to the information published in the Spanish press, the coach tested the starting formula for the match with Barcelona, and the biggest surprise was related to Kylian Mbappe.
The Frenchman would not have been among the starters, given that the offensive couple chosen for El Clasico would have consisted of Vinicius Junior and Gonzalo Garcia.
The decision would not have gone down well with the French star. Initially, publications in Spain wrote that Mbappe would have left training about 10 minutes before the end due to muscle problems.
Later, Marca journalists came up with another version. According to the quoted source, the French striker would have had a real nervous breakdown after learning that he would start the match on the bench.
Mbappe reportedly left training straight away without explanation, leaving his teammates to continue the outnumbered school game.
The reaction of the technical staff came immediately. Real Madrid decided to completely exclude him from the team for El Clesico, and the number 10 will not even be a reserve at Camp Nou.
