The hurricane swept over Siberia – the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Kuzbass, Khakassia and Novosibirsk Region were affected.
At the Sheregesh resort the ski lifts are shaking, Abakan and Sayanogorsk were covered by a sandstorm, trees in the region were blown away by the wind, cars and advertising boards were damaged, and in some places the roofs of high-rise buildings were blown off.
In Novokuznetsk, a tree fell on a passerby and the man was taken away in an ambulance. In Novosibirsk, part of the city and six districts of the region were left without electricity.
