“The current minister (no – Ionuț Moșteanu) gave some encouraging, positive statements in front of Steaua. This is the truth, MApN can no longer invest in the football team and Steaua will have to go for private investments.

There are more serious things at the country level, at the political level. I don't think it is possible to discuss the Star at this time. But I think we are on the right track. “Gigi Nețoiu, my friend, said that he was asked for 20 million, I didn't even know. He told me later. Now it's something else and I hope that good things will happen, that Steaua will have the right to promotion. It is important that there are also investors in the football team.
The one who comes has to invest a large amount, it's Steaua Bucharest. He needs players first of all, I don't know if there are some in the current team who could play in the first league, win the championship, play in Europe… Steaua would come with the infrastructure that is now at the stadium, with the academy,” Pițurcă said.
