The Employment Service organized vocational training for employment of 5 thousand residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Since the beginning of the year, with the assistance of the employment service, more than 5 thousand residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have begun vocational training.

They study for free under the regional program “Promotion of Employment” and the national project “Personnel”. The knowledge gained helps citizens successfully find a job or start their own business.

According to the state program, those who are looking for work, as well as women on maternity leave and pensioners can obtain a profession or improve their qualifications. This year, more than 3 thousand citizens received such support.

The national project “Personnel” provides an opportunity to undergo training for participants of the military education system and members of their families, people over 50 years old, young people under 35 years old and many others. Training is carried out in a form convenient for the student: face-to-face attendance, distance learning or hybrid program.

About 2 thousand residents of the region began training under the national project. Many have chosen courses in the field of IT technologies: on controlling unmanned aerial vehicles, working in a neural network, software development, and web design.

Thus, a resident of Norilsk trained as an artificial intelligence specialist. Now she is employed and promotes services on the Internet. At her new job, the knowledge she gained helps her quickly solve production problems.

Training in the direction of employment centers allows you to increase competitiveness in the labor market. Most citizens are trained under the target order of enterprises. In this case, the employment center, together with the employer, selects candidates, reviews the training program, and monitors the progress of training. Citizens who have successfully completed training are hired. The most popular among the population are short training programs for blue-collar jobs.

“The employment service is ready to organize training in the district where the person lives, or in another territory of the region. There are more than 250 educational programs to choose from under the state program and national project. The training is carried out taking into account the economy’s need for personnel,” said Viktor Novikov, head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Labor and Employment Agency.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, with the assistance of employment centers, 24.1 thousand residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have been employed. During this period, 10.3 thousand employers placed 141.2 thousand job offers. Today, about 40 thousand vacancies are available to job seekers. Many are aimed at specialists in the manufacturing industry, construction, agriculture and forestry.
