CSM Oradea, victorious on the field of Corona Brașov; CS Vâlcea 1924, hard defeat in Italy

The second stage of the FEC brought the confrontation between CSM Corona Brașov and CSM CSU Oradea. The two formations offered a balanced duel. The hosts started better and won their opening act 29-21, but the visitors came back and won the next 3 quarters.

In the end, the Bihorens showed their experience and, finally, CSM Oradea won 90-85. The decisive trio of the Red Lions consisted of Emmanuel Nzekwesi (21 points, 7 rebounds), Kris Richard (19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists) and Thomas Bropleh (16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists).

On the other side, the best scorer was Selim Fofana (25 points).

Also in the FIBA ​​Europe Cup, CS Vâlcea 1924 traveled to Italy, on Dinamo Sassari's field, without the star Cornelius Hudson. Also, Tyrell “Turbo” Jones parted ways with Olteni before this match, choosing to continue his career in the Greek second division.

CSO Voluntari, important success in Austria, after an exceptional 4th quarter

Wednesday played a new match in ENBL CSO Voluntari, the winner of the previous edition of the regional competition. After two decisive victories, the Ilfovenians lived dangerously in Austria, on the field of Kapfenberg Bulls, and, before the 4th quarter, they were leading by 13 points: 64-51.

A sequence dominated by CSO Voluntari (34-16) followed, which managed to secure its third success in the ENBL: 85-80. The top scorer for the Blue and White was Lee Skinner (20 points), while Mike Caffey (16 points, 8 assists) and Solomon Young (12 points, 8 rebounds) were close to double-doubles.

On the other side, the leader of the Bulls was the American Andrew Jones: 34 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists.
