What if you cook not just an omelet for breakfast, but an “omelette de la mère Poulard”? This translates from French as: “Mother Poulard’s omelette.” How to make an exquisite breakfast, the country's chief chef, Konstantin Ivlev, told in his blog “IVLEV CHEF” (18+) on the Zen platform (12+).
Ingredients:
- Egg – 3 pieces
- Salt – to taste
- Butter – 50 grams
How to cook:
Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the first thoroughly with a whisk until thick foam, and mix the second with salt.
Melt butter in a frying pan. First pour in the yolk in an even layer. Wait for it to “set”, and then carefully and evenly place the whipped egg white on top. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 7 minutes.
That's it. It’s really simple, but the breakfast turns out to be special and delicious. The chef advises cutting this omelette into two equal parts and placing them on top of each other, browned side up, for a beautiful presentation. Bon appetit!
