In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, charges were brought against the coach of the camp where a teenager was abused (video)

Krasnoyarsk Investigative Committee announced the completion of the investigation into the criminal case against the former teacher of the summer health camp “Sosnovy Bor” in the Sukhobuzimsky district, accused of providing unsafe services to children.

Let us remind you that in June 2025, teenagers will be in the camp committed against a 10-year-old boy other violent acts of a sexual nature. The investigation found fault in the incident educator (trainer) Denis Chugaev, since hedid not ensure the safe stay of children in the camp and violated the obligation to promptly notify the administration of the institution about each incident.

“Due to the provision of services that did not meet safety requirements, four teenagers committed unlawful acts against the boy. The child reported the incident to the teacher, but he did not take measures to protect him,” the Investigative Committee said in its materials.

Currently, a criminal case under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers) was sent to the prosecutor's office for approval of the indictment and subsequent consideration on the merits. The following types of punishment are provided for this crime: a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles, or forced labor for up to 5 years, or imprisonment for up to 6 years.

As for the teenagers who abused the boy, two of them were placed in a special closed educational institution. The issue of applying a similar measure to the remaining participants in the incident is now being decided.
