A resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory found illegal weapons and ammunition

In the Nazarovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police seized Sahapta three hunting rifles of 5.6 mm caliber and 80 rounds of ammunition. They were stored illegally and were suitable for shooting.

The man explained that he had bought weapons and ammunition a long time ago.

A criminal case was opened against him under Part 1 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal acquisition, storage or carrying of weapons and ammunition.” They can be punished for this restriction of liberty for a term of up to 3 years, or forced labor, or arrest or imprisonment for a term of 3 to 5 years with a fine. In the meantime, the defendant has been given a coercive measure in the form of an obligation to appear.
