In Krasnoyarsk, two men will stand trial for the ordered arson of a car worth 2 million rubles in the Preobrazhensky microdistrict, the prosecutor's office reported.
Let us recall that in December 2024, a Subaru Levorg car burned down in the Preobrazhensky microdistrict, and a Hyundai Creta standing next to it was damaged. The owner of the second car had to spend 40 thousand rubles on repairs.
The prosecutor's office said that the arsonists had no personal motives for committing the crime. One of the men was offered 40 thousand rubles for participating in the arson. The second turned out to be his 33-year-old friend.
“For secrecy, the men removed the license plates from their car, purchased a can of gasoline and began to implement their plan. Approaching the car, one of the duo members generously poured gasoline on the hood near the right side of the engine compartment.», — explained in the supervisory department.
The identity of the customer is established. Those involved in the arson admitted guilt. The prosecutor's office approved charges against them under Part. 2 tbsp. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for intentional destruction of property. They face up to five years of forced labor or imprisonment.
