“Special message” from Kim Jong Un. This is what the dictator demands

“The Department of Publicity and Information received a special message from Kim Jong Un that clearly reminded the department of its mission and responsibilities,” a source told Daily NK. His reports show that the most important task of officials is to spread propaganda messages emphasizing the power of North Korea. Kim summarized his ideas in six points.

Kim Jong Un's six propaganda recommendations
Kim Jong Un's first recommendation concerned the need to “educate public opinion” about increasing North Korea's nuclear potential, as well as about the reasons for hostile relations with South Korea. The statement called on the department to develop new, more effective forms of propaganda.
Secondly — Kim ordered the department to find links between the country's major economic achievements and its military power that could be used in both domestic and international propaganda.
Third point of the message directly concerned the work of officials – the dictator called for faster progress. “When a task is directly assigned by the Central Committee, we do not tolerate anything other than success,” he said, quoted by Daily NK's source.

Fourthly the promotion department must find propaganda methods that best suit different work environments: military bases, factories, farms, and schools. In his opinion, the messages sent cannot be universal.
In the fifth point the North Korean leader noted that the strongest propaganda should be built around the anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party. “This is the starting point for a new march towards the future of the homeland,” Kim Jong Un reportedly said about the anniversary.
In his sixth point Kim reiterated that all public propaganda must be based on facts. Koreans need to have tangible evidence of what is being promoted by officials. Otherwise they will have no trust in the authorities.
