In Poland, they announced the arrest of eight people who were preparing sabotage. There are Ukrainians among them

More detailed information was provided to X by the Minister – Coordinator of the Polish Intelligence Services, Tomasz Siemoniak.

“The issues that Prime Minister Tusk writes about concern the reconnaissance of military installations and critical infrastructure, the preparation of resources for sabotage and the direct execution of attacks,” he wrote.

According to Siemoniak, the case is being handled by ABW, the Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW), the police and the prosecutor's office.




According to the RMF TV channel, the detainees acted in the interests of Russian intelligence. In particular, two people in the Silesian Voivodeship and two people in Lublin were allegedly conducting reconnaissance of military infrastructure; A resident of Gdynia (Pomeranian Voivodeship) was detained as part of a case of arson of about 10 cars with Ukrainian license plates.

Also, the press secretary of the intelligence services coordinator, Jacek Dobrzynski, said that among the eight detainees there were three Ukrainians, including a 21-year-old man, writes RMF. According to investigators, they sent parcels with explosives to Ukraine, which exploded or started a fire, in order to intimidate the population and destabilize the situation. One person was allegedly detained in Poland, and two more in Romania.

Poland is the largest hub in the transfer of military assistance to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression.
