The Krasmash JSC Bandy Cup was held in Krasnoyarsk

The Open Bandy Cup among amateur teams was held in Krasnoyarsk at the Yenisei stadium. The competition was organized by the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant with the support of numerous partners of the enterprise.

Opening the tournament, Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, General Director of Krasmash JSC Alexander Gavrilov noted that the plant is known not only for its rocket and space technology, but also for its sports traditions.

“The history of the Krasnoyarsk hockey club “Yenisei” began with our enterprise, and today we are returning to the origins of our long-standing friendship. At the same time, there are many talented athletes at Krasmash who not only represent the plant at competitions of various levels, but also act as their ideological inspirers. This championship, although amateur in its status, is a direct confirmation of this. I wish the participants a winning spirit in the fight for the cup, and the fans bright emotions and good mood,” the head noted.

Alexander Gavrilov's wishes were joined by invited guests of honor – State Duma deputy Yuri Shvytkin and director of the Yenisei bandy school Igor Skotnikov.

8 teams competed for prizes, including 5 teams from the regional center (two of them from Krasmash), as well as representatives of other cities and regions: “Suek-Kuzbass” from Leninsk-Kuznetsky, Novosibirsk “Sovremennik”, “Irbis” from Gorno-Altaisk.

There were entertainment locations at the stadium for children and adults: here you could admire large models of ships, launch vehicles, and independently assemble the hulls of spacecraft, airplanes, as well as moving robotic mechanisms from construction kit parts. Activists of the Krasmash Youth Council held a lottery, presenting sets with souvenirs to the lucky winners.

The three finalists were determined on October 19. The winner of the cup was “Veterans of Krasnoyarsk”. The second place was won by the hockey players of the “60+” team, also from the capital of the region, and the bronze medalists were the Novosibirsk team.

Prizes were presented to the best players and winning teams by representatives of the tournament organizer, the regional branch of SoyuzMash, partners and sponsors of the sporting event.
