A criminal case against the general director of the Krasnoyarsk construction company “Restavratsiya”, accused of fraud in shared construction, has been sent to court. This was reported to the regional prosecutor's office.

According to investigators, in 2016, the entrepreneur launched a large-scale scam involving the construction of two residential complexes – “Festival” in the Solnechny microdistrict and “Edelweiss-Next” in the Oktyabrsky district. To attract clients, he artificially lowered prices for apartments and offered profitable installment plans, issuing fictitious documents to shareholders about the receipt of their funds. He negotiated with contractors on calculations by square meters.
Having collected more than 2.2 billion rubles, the general director flew to the Italian province of Tuscany in September 2018 with close family members. Despite the court's refusal Florence in extradition, all the Russian property of the developer worth 370 million rubles was seized to compensate the victims.
The prosecutor confirmed the charge of fraud on an especially large scale. The criminal case will be considered in the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Krasnoyarsk in the absence of the accused.
