Andrzej Duda has a new job

“After years of public service, I want to use my experience to support the development of technologies and innovations that have a real impact on the economy” — this is how former president Andrzej Duda explained his decision in an interview with “PB”.

The Zen.com application is sometimes called the “Polish Revolut”, but its creator said in an interview with Business Insider Polska that he does not want it to be associated only with payments. As Dawid Rożek says, he wants to convince those who are unconvinced to shop online. And offer “peace of mind” to those who are afraid that something will go wrong – the phone will arrive in the wrong color, the speaker will not connect to the phone, or the tablet will fall into the bathtub.
ZEN.com was established in 2018 in Rzeszów.
Why did the former president choose this particular company? “Polish banks have excellent digital services, but ZEN.com goes one step further. It's like comparing traditional mobile phones with smartphones – it's about creating an entire intuitive financial ecosystem, not just a single service. That's why I tell the management board: think not only about young customers, but also about my generation, which is becoming more and more digitally active and needs modern, but also friendly solutions,” he says in “PB”.
Andrzej Duda also added that “assumed co-responsibility for supervising ZEN.com to be an institution that is as safe as possible for consumers.”
The former president of the Republic of Poland added that he sees himself in supervisory and advisory bodies and perhaps in the future he will act “on some further boards of various institutions.”
