However, Drăguș still needs time to return to the field and will not be used on Monday, when his team will face Kasimpașa in the championship. However, he has time to get back on his feet until the national team matches in December. For the “tricolors”, the matches against Bosnia (October 15) and San Marino (November 18) follow, the last two of the qualification campaign for the 2026 World Cup.

Denis Drăguș failed to score for the club team in the 7 matches he played. For the national team he played 26 matches and scored 7 goals.

This has been bothering me for the past few days. The moment I felt on the field that something was quite serious, the first thought was the match with Austria. We will see how long the recovery period will be. I'm under pressure. It hurt the first day, it was quite intense, now it's better. I hope to recover as soon as possible. I don't know if I will be fit or not, today we will know the final verdict.

After the match I was pessimistic, because I was in quite a lot of pain. I haven't had enough injuries to know how serious it is or not, so until the medical staff tells me exactly, I don't want to think about the possibility that I won't be available.
