There will be no third world war over Ukraine – Trump


The head of the White House announced a meeting with illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin in Budapest after their conversation on October 16. The media asked Trump why he thought his second meeting with Putin after Alaska would produce results.

According to the American president, negotiations with Putin in Alaska paved the way for resolving the war in Ukraine.

“In my opinion, this could lead to a third world war. This will not happen, but it could [случиться]”, says Trump.

According to him, he is making efforts to resolve the Russian war against Ukraine for the sake of “saving souls.”

“I’m not doing this for our sake, there’s an ocean between us. I’m doing this, including to help Europe. They want this to end, but they are not able to do it,” Trump said. “I can do this. I think we will succeed.”

Trump has previously made statements about the possible outbreak of a third world war. Thus, in July last year, in an interview with Bloomberg, then still a candidate for the presidency of the United States, Trump assumed that soon the third world war may begin. He noted that if he were president, then Putin I would not dare to attack Ukraine. Trump stated that, perhaps a third world war will begin if he does not win the US presidential election in November 2024.

After a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the United States on September 27, the American politician said that it was the war in Ukraine that allegedly could develop into a third world war.
