Krasnoyarsk resident Elena Kuts is fighting with a private clinic after severe complications in her son following surgery. According to the Prima TV channel, 17-year-old Danila spent five days in a coma.

According to the stories of a woman who contacted the editor, the guy needed fix nasal septum. The family chose the Effie plastic surgery and cosmetology clinic. According to Elena, misunderstandings started even before the operation. There were a number of abnormalities in the tests, but the doctor assured the woman that they were not significant.

A few hours after the intervention began, the woman told the TV channel, a representative of the clinic said that the operation took a little longer, Danila had a fever, but the child was given a sedative and put to bed. The mother came to see her son the next day.

“When I walked in, I felt bad. I sat down on the bed because I saw an amoeba. He lost consciousness,” said Elena Kuts.

According to Elena, they could not find a resuscitation team for the guy for two hours – the surgeon allegedly tried to call his friends in hospitals instead of calling an ambulance. As a result, Danila and her mother were hospitalized at Hospital No. 20. The young man's condition sharply worsened – sepsis, hemorrhagic stroke, bilateral pneumonia and toxicological hepatitis developed, inoznik risk of thrombosis. He was put into a coma for five days.

“We spent a year in the regional hospital, undergoing examinations. He can’t run, jump, or lift heavy things. He is weak, he takes 2-3 classes at the technical school, but he comes home empty-handed. The issue will be resolved about disability,” explained Elena.

Based on the results of the inspection, Roszdravnadzor revealed gross violations of licensing requirements at the Effie clinic, Prima reports. A criminal case was opened against the anesthesiologist, but it was dropped due to his death. The family's lawyer, Marina Lamozhapova, insists on the need to hold other doctors accountable.

For its part, the Effie clinic claims that the cause of the complications could have been the patient taking antidepressants. “Mom continues to persist and hide the facts. Doctors, in order to save Kuts, had to be investigators in order to understand what mom was hiding,” said the director of the clinic, Vitaly Andriyanov, in a commentary to the TV channel.

Elena herself assures: before “Effie”, her son had another operation, also under anesthesia – and everything was fine.
