Influencer Makaveli and a group of agitators tried to force their way to the blast site: “Stop covering up the dead. We have images of fallen hands”
A group of people, unrelated to the tenants of the affected blocks – among them the Makaveli influencer, who was involved in Călin Georgescu's campaign – repeatedly tried to force the security perimeter established by the authorities. The Gendarmerie stated that a person was taken to the Police.
“Let the press in. Stop covering up the dead. We have images of fallen hands, fallen legs. What are you trying to do? People jumped into the air in Romania. A government of thugs, who are unable to hold anyone accountable. Let them in! There is no risk of danger. The police are short-handed there (…). There are people drinking coffee”Makaveli shouted.
According to the Capital Gendarmerie, “a group of people, unrelated to the tenants of the affected blocks, repeatedly tried to force the security perimeter, established by the authorities.

The agitators instigated “to actions that endanger the smooth running of the intervention“, stated, on Friday afternoon, the Gendarmerie of the Capital.
“Following these behaviors, a man was extracted from the group and taken to the police station, in order to identify and take legal measures. We reiterate the fact that the gendarmes are present to delimit and secure the area, supporting the intervention of the fire brigade and the deployment of protective measures for all those involved“, sent the Gendarmerie of the Capital.
The Gendarmerie advises citizens to avoid approaching the area of the affected perimeter, to respect the instructions of the law enforcement, not to try to intervene on their own and not to hinder the intervention teams in any way.
