Zelensky's visit to Washington is scheduled for Friday. According to media reports, at the White House the leaders are to discuss, among others: the scope of further military support for Ukraine, including the possible delivery of long-range Tomahawk missiles.

Volodymyr Zelensky on his meeting with Donald Trump. “We did our homework”
The talks are to be crucial for determining what type of weapons should be sent to the front and what decisions the United States will make.
— We've done our share of homework before meeting President Trump – the military part, as well as the economic part. All the details are ready. The agenda of our meeting is very businesslike Zelensky said. He added that he hopes that the talks may actually bring the end of the war closer because the US has the ability to influence globally.

The Ukrainian president also noted that it is now crucial to increase “the scale of possibilities for far-reaching Ukrainian sanctions.” In his opinion, expanding economic pressure on Russia is an essential element of the defense strategy.
Ukrainian officials already in the US. Talks with arms giants are ongoing
Zelensky announced that a Ukrainian delegation headed by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko is already in Washington. The delegation began a series of top-level meetings, setting the stage for the presidents' conversation on Friday. Ukrainian representatives meet not only with American politicians, but also with defense companies – including producers of air defense systems – and with representatives of the energy sector.
— They are preparing the basis for a conversation with the leader of the United States, as well as with American arms and energy companies. Thank you for this work – emphasized Zelensky, quoted by his office on social media platforms.
In Wednesday's speech, the Ukrainian president also revealed that he had talked to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. He thanked him for the support so far and announced the possibility of taking joint actions to strengthen Ukraine's resilience. One of the topics was cooperation in the energy sector, including potential supplies of American gas with Greece as an intermediary.
Zelensky's visit to the US is perceived as one of the most important in months. Kiev hopes that the meeting with Trump will strengthen its alliance with Washington, bring specific decisions regarding weapons and sanctions, and strengthen Ukraine's position in the international arena.
