Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has been hospitalized and is at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, Serbian media report.
According to them, Vucic became worse yesterday during a visit to the United States. Therefore, he canceled all scheduled appointments and returned home for treatment. Bloomberg wrote about the same thing. At the same time, the president had plans to meet with Donald Trump and other senior members of the Republican Party. Until now, there has been no information from his office about whether they took place.
Also, a number of media outlets claim that Vucic’s trip to the Victory Parade in Moscow is now in jeopardy. Shortly before this, on April 30, the European Commission warned the Serbian president that his visit to Russia on May 9 would complicate negotiations on Serbia’s admission to the European Union.
