20 years by Kaufland: From the first opening to a national network of over 190 stores

In 2005, the first Kaufland store in Romania, in Colentina, Bucharest was opened. Since then, the retailer has grown constantly and has become present in all the counties of the country, with over 190 stores, two logistics centers and 18,000 employees.

Two decades later, Kaufland means not only commercial expansion, but also investments in the economy, sustainable projects and campaigns that remained in the memory of consumers. Kaufland marks the 20-year anniversary through a campaign dedicated to customers, with the message “For 20 years part of your family.”
