The US President Donald Trump had words chosen for Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, the only woman leading on the stage of the Gaza Summit on Monday, in Egypt: “It is beautiful”, writes the English edition of the France24 site.
Trump acknowledged that he risked being accused of sexism for his comments about Meloni, who was behind him on the podium at the Peace Summit in Gaza.
“I am not allowed to say this, because, usually, if you say it, it is the end of your political career – it is a beautiful young woman,” said Trump in the midst of a speech about his peace efforts for the Middle East.
“If in the United States you use the word” beautiful “to describe a woman, that means the end of your political career, but I will risk.”

Turning to the 48-year-old woman, Trump said, “Don't you mind being beautiful, aren't you? Because you are.”
Meloni's immediate reaction could not be seen, because Trump was sitting with his back between her and rooms.
Trump has continued to call Meloni, an ideological ally in terms of immigration and cultural, “incredible” problems.
“And he respects it a lot in Italy. He is a very successful politician,” he added.
